Do you enjoy superhero films? Do you also like more realistic films? If so, then what better contender than The Dark Knight. As with any of his films, Christopher Nolan successfully delivers one of the most acclaimed superhero films ever made. Furthermore, the film has some of the best acting ever witnessed on camera, from the evil mind of Joker, played masterfully by Heath Ledger. Of course, everyone knows the story of Batman, but not in the way Nolan is showing it. It is a film about justice and injustice, about chaos and loyalty, about deception and love. It is a film that proposes and discusses much more than it may seem at first glance, employing many profound meanings. It is without a doubt a great movie to watch, if not for Christian Bale’s performance, definitely for Heath Ledger’s.
